Tabitha Wilbur Tezil, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. In 2014, they served as a Research Intern at Policy Matters Ohio, where they assisted with research, attended legislative meetings, and collaborated on organizational newsletters. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Indiana University Bloomington, starting as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and later becoming a Graduate Research Assistant. Tabitha also served as a Course Instructor, teaching Education and Society, creating course materials, grading, and mentoring students. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Assistant for The Karl F. Schuessler Institute for Social Science Research, assisting with day-to-day operations and coordinating guest speakers. In 2021, Dr. Tezil was a NAEP Doctoral Research Intern at the American Institutes for Research. Tabitha is currently a Co-Instructor of a graduate-level class at Indiana University Bloomington and has recently started working at the American Institutes for Research as a Researcher.
Tabitha Wilbur Tezil, PhD, received their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The Ohio State University in 2013. Tabitha then continued their education at Indiana University Bloomington, where they completed a Master's degree in Sociology from 2016 to 2018. Building upon their Master's degree, Tabitha went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology from Indiana University Bloomington, which they completed in 2022.
