Yifan Bai

Senior Researcher at American Institutes for Research

Yifan Bai began their work experience in 2011 as a Research Assistant Intern at the China Philanthropy Research Institute. They then worked as a Research Associate at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2012 to 2013. Yifan Bai later joined the American Institutes for Research as a Researcher Intern in 2016 and as a Researcher in 2017. Concurrently, Yifan Bai was a Graduate Student at Penn State University from 2013 to 2018.

Yifan Bai obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Nanjing University in the period from 2006 to 2010. Following this, Yifan pursued further education and completed a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed) degree with a focus on Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania, from 2010 to 2011. Finally, Yifan Bai attended Penn State University from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Education Theory and Policy; Comparative and International Education.
