Suja Mathew

Suja Mathew is a seasoned medical professional with a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, earned from 1993 to 1997. Suja has extensive experience in various leadership roles, currently serving as a Senior Physician Advisor at the American Medical Association since November 2019. Prior to this, Suja was the Chief Clinical Officer and Executive Vice President at Atlantic Health System from March 2022 to October 2025. Suja also held the position of Chair of Medicine at Cook County Health and Hospitals System from July 2000 to March 2022.
