Director, Risk And Safety at Global Medical Response

Jay Stetz, CSP has over 17 years of experience in risk management and safety roles. Jay is currently working as the Director of Risk and Safety at Global Medical Response since February 2020. Prior to this, Jay held various positions such as Regional HS&E Manager at Signature Flight Support from November 2017 to October 2019, and in Risk Management at Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority from July 2015 to November 2017. Jay also worked as a Senior Safety Specialist at Parsons from January 2013 to July 2015, and as a Senior Safety Coordinator at Southland Industries from January 2007 to January 2012. Jay also has experience in training, having worked at the National Transportation Safety Board from September 2004 to December 2004. Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing safety policies, promoting risk management initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Jay Stetz, CSP has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aviation Safety with a concentration in Transportation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, obtained from 2001 to 2006. Jay also holds a Master's degree from the same university, completed in an unknown timeframe. In 2021, they began pursuing a second Master's degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which is anticipated to be completed in 2023. Jay Stetz has obtained several additional certifications, including Associate Safety and Health Manager from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in 2023, and the CSP, ASP, and CHST certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2015, 2014, and 2010 respectively.
