Amy Wheeler

Amy Wheeler is an accomplished audit and risk professional with extensive experience in the banking sector. As the Director of Audit and Risk at American National Bank since April 2019, Amy oversees critical audit functions. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Regulatory/Compliance/Trust Audit at First National Bank of Omaha from April 2006 to April 2020, where oversight of regulatory, compliance, and trust audits was a key responsibility. Additionally, Amy held positions at Union Safe Deposit Bank from January 1997 to January 2004, initially as BSA Officer and then as Compliance Officer. Amy holds a degree from California State University, Stanislaus, earned between January 1984 and January 1987.
