Daniela Genuino Smith currently serves as the Creative & Brand Director for the American Petroleum Institute since November 2024, bringing extensive experience in creative leadership. Daniela has operated as the Owner Principal at DGS Creative & Branding since October 2009, and previously held the role of Creative & Brand Director at the National Restaurant Association from June 2019 to November 2024. Prior to this, Daniela was the Associate Brand Strategy Director at the American College of Cardiology from October 2009 to June 2019. The career also includes roles as Associate Creative Director at two different companies, OPM and Matriz Brasil, along with experience as an Art Director at OPM. Daniela holds a BS in Advertising from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and has studied Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts.
