Dana E. serves as Associate Director for Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Workshops and International Programs at the American Political Science Association since July 2021, previously holding the role of Manager in the same area. Dana E. has also been an Arabic Interpreter and Cultural Liaison for the U.S. Department of State since January 2012. Earlier experience includes a position as Research & Grant Associate at the American University of Kuwait from September 2017 to August 2018, and teaching roles at Middlebury, including Faculty Member and Graduate Assistant between 2011 and 2012. Dana E. began as an Arabic Translator and Coordinator at Career Options from November 2009 to August 2010. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Documentary Filmmaking from The George Washington University, a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Arabic from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in Teaching English as a Second Language from California State University, Northridge.
