Tara Davis has a diverse work experience. Tara started their career at the American Psychological Association, where they held various roles including Senior Director of Internal Communications & Staff Wellbeing, Director of Internal Communications & Staff Well-Being and Engagement, Director of Staff Well-Being and Engagement, Director of Staff Initiatives, and Assistant Director of Staff Initiatives. In these roles, Tara managed the development and implementation of programs and policies to enhance the work experience and create a supportive environment for staff. Tara also coordinated logistics for health and wellness classes, facilitated recognition programs, and produced company-wide communications. Prior to their time at the American Psychological Association, Tara worked as a Technical Information Specialist, where they produced records for databases, performed quality control reviews, and trained new staff. In addition to their professional roles, Tara also volunteered as a Mentor at Young Life, where they worked with high school students, planned weekly meetings, and mentored adolescents on various issues.

Tara Davis completed their bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Virginia between 2000 and 2004.
