Eleanor Najjar

Eleanor Najjar has extensive experience in leadership and community service across various organizations. Since June 1995, Eleanor has served on the Board of Directors and as Chair of Government Relations for the American Red Cross Bay Area, also participating in the Governance and Diversity Committees. Eleanor has been an active member of the Junior League of San Francisco since 1984, contributing to women's leadership and community support efforts. Eleanor also played a significant role in the California State Government Relations Committee of the American Red Cross starting in 2003. Previous leadership positions include serving on the Board of San Francisco CARD from 1995 to 2005, as well as training and serving on the Board of the Association of Junior Leagues International from 1992 to 1996. Eleanor's international experience includes being a Fulbright Scholar and a Peace Corps Volunteer, with advanced education in ESL from the School for International Training and a degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
