Kathleen MacLay

Kathleen Maclay has extensive experience in media relations and public affairs, having volunteered with the American Red Cross Bay Area since March 2013. Prior to this role, Kathleen worked in public affairs at UC Berkeley from August 1999 to June 2018, focusing on reporting across various fields including arts, humanities, politics, and public policy. Kathleen's journalism career began with positions at the Associated Press in the San Francisco Bureau from 1985 to 1990 and at the Contra Costa Times from 1990 to 1999. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from California State University, Fresno.
