Thomas Carreiro

Thomas Carreiro has extensive experience in corporate security and homeland defense, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Statewide Director of Corporate Security at American Savings Bank, the third-largest bank in Hawaii, since April 2019. In addition to this role, Thomas has been engaged with the Department of Defense since May 2013 as a Field Supervisory Intel Officer focusing on homeland security, anti-terrorism measures, and instruction in active shooter tactics and firearms. Previous positions include Supervisory Anti-Terrorism Field Operator at the United States Department of Defense and various roles within the Honolulu Police Department, including SWAT/Bomb Squad/WMD Commander and leader of the Crime Reduction Unit.
