Abdelhalim Elshawadfy

Abdelhalim Elshawadfy, PhD, MLS (ASCP) SM, MB, is a molecular microbiologist with extensive experience in the field of microbiology. Currently serving as a SM ASCP Specialist in Microbiology at the American Society for Clinical Pathology since November 2020, Abdelhalim also attained MLS ASCP certification. Prior to this, Abdelhalim held various research positions at the Animal Health Research Institute starting in 2012, including roles as Postdoctoral Researcher and Assistant Researcher in microbiology. Abdelhalim's early career includes experience as a veterinarian at Kadis for Agriculture and Veterinary Services from 2004 to 2008. Academic achievements include a PhD and a Master’s degree in Veterinary Microbiology and Immunobiology from Benha University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Minufiya University.
