Reuben Leslie

Reuben Leslie has extensive experience in public administration and community service, primarily through roles in various organizations and governmental agencies in Texas. Since 1999, Reuben has been a member of the Texas State Employees Union, and has served as a Council Member for the Centex Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration since 1990, while also being an active member of ASPA and SHHSA. As Precinct Chair for the Travis County Democratic Party since December 1994, Reuben contributes to the County Executive Committee's responsibilities, including organizing local campaigns and overseeing election processes. Reuben’s professional background includes significant positions such as Senior Rate Analyst at Texas HHSC and Program Specialist at the Texas Department of State Health Services, in addition to a long tenure at the Texas Department of Human Services. Educationally, Reuben holds a Master of Public Affairs from The LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rice University.
