Suzanne Chong

Suzanne Chong, MD, MS, FASER has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they hold the position of Division Chief of Emergency Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition to this role, they are also serving as the President of the American Society of Emergency Radiology.

Prior to their current positions, Dr. Chong worked at Indiana University Health as both a Clinical Professor and Clinical Associate Professor. Suzanne held the Clinical Professor role from July 2022 to February 2024 and the Clinical Associate Professor role from November 2019 to June 2022.

Dr. Chong has also been actively involved with the American College of Radiology. From July 2018 to September 2023, they served as the Chair of the Emergency Radiology Committee.

Before joining Brigham and Women's Hospital and Indiana University Health, Dr. Chong worked at the University of Michigan. During their time there, they held various positions including Clinical Associate Professor, Division Director of Emergency Radiology, Clinical Assistant Professor, Lecturer II, and Fellow in Abdominal Imaging. Suzanne'stenure at the University of Michigan spanned from July 2005 to October 2019.

Suzanne Chong, MD, MS, FASER has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Research & Statistical Design from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Suzanne also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Suzanne is currently pursuing an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business. Suzanne obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College and studied Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Pennsylvania.
