Leona Zahn

Leona Zahn has extensive experience in event management, currently serving as Meetings Manager and formerly as Meetings Specialist at the American Society of Hematology since April 2014. The American Society of Hematology is the world's largest professional society for clinicians and scientists focused on blood diseases. Prior to this, Leona worked as a Meetings Coordinator at Global Events Partners from January 2009 to November 2013, where the organization represented over 240 hotels and resorts, providing resources for meeting professionals. Leona began their career as a Volunteer Docent at the Smithsonian American History Museum from September 2001 to April 2009 and held a position as Facility Security Officer/Contractor Special Security Officer at TRSG, Inc. from September 2002 to December 2008. Leona holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgian Court University, completed between 1978 and 1982.
