Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion (dei) Specialist at American Society of Human Genetics

Maya June, MA, is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Specialist at the American Society of Human Genetics since November 2021. Prior to this role, Maya served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Associate at Answer the Moment, LLC, where co-led DEI seminars and workshops, synthesized workplace data, and developed interactive DEI Toolkits. Additionally, Maya worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, creating departmental newsletters and managing virtual tools, and held an internship at Bello Machré, where HR-related data was analyzed. Early career experiences include an internship with Blue Water Baltimore. Maya holds a Master’s degree in Applied Sociology and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
