Robin Alexix Powers

Robin Alexix Powers is a clinical consultant at NP Mike Cline since January 2020, specializing in developing support plans for complex cases involving rare diseases. Since June 2019, Robin has served as an ambassador for the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, advocating for rare, chronic, and undiagnosed diseases. As the president and cofounder of RareABILITY, Robin emphasizes a prosocial approach to medical ethics. In various advocacy roles, including vice president of advocacy and civic engagement at creative4acause, and as an advocate for the EveryLife Foundation for Rare Diseases and the American Society of Human Genetics, Robin promotes awareness and advances initiatives in rare diseases and genetics. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Pharmacology and a multidisciplinary individualized M.S. degree in Human/Medical Genetics from Buffalo State University, completed in August 2023.
