Sally Cortez, MPH, CHES, is an experienced professional with a strong background in project management and operations within the fields of public health and education assessment. Currently serving as a Wellbeing Navigator at The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) since May 2020, Sally has previously held multiple roles at the American Institutes for Research, where significant accomplishments included overseeing the timely completion of over 600 deliverables and training assessment reviewers. Earlier experience includes project coordination at Adventist HealthCare, where Sally developed targeted communications and managed a multi-year program schedule. Sally holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
