Christopher Nerlich

Christopher Nerlich is an experienced maritime professional with a strong background in marine transportation and leadership roles. Currently serving as an Unlimited Master at American Steamship Company since August 2018, Christopher has previously held positions as Chief Mate/Senior DPO at Bordelon Marine and 2nd Captain at Gulf Offshore Logistics LLC. Prior experience includes serving as Captain/Chief Mate at Harvey Gulf International Marine. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Transportation from Ferris State University and a Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage Oceans certification from Great Lakes Maritime Academy, both obtained between 2009 and 2012.
