Michael Wetzel

Michael Wetzel is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education and engineering. Currently serving as a Computer Science Teacher at American Straight A Academy since November 2022, Michael previously held roles as Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer on various motor and sailing yachts, where responsibilities included managing mechanical systems and troubleshooting. Additionally, Michael has experience as a Mathematics Teacher at BOOST Academy Cape Town and has worked in the hospitality sector as a waiter. Michael holds a BSc in Engineering Mechatronics from the University of Cape Town, complemented by a Basic Xhosa Communication course.
