Katherine Eberenz

Katherine Eberenz is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in managing medical publications and production processes. Currently serving as Managing Editor for Clinical Infectious Diseases at the Infectious Diseases Society of America since May 2023, Katherine previously held various roles at the American Thoracic Society, including Senior Manager of Editorial and Production, where responsibilities included overseeing journal publications, editing content, and creating a table of contents management system. Earlier in the career, Katherine worked at TransPerfect in multiple roles, focusing on quality assurance for pharmaceutical clients, and coordinated linguistic teams to ensure rigorous proofreading standards. Katherine's foundational experience includes an internship at Inkwell Management Literary Agency and support roles at Brown University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Arts was earned. Additionally, a study abroad experience at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna further enriched Katherine's academic background.
