Alma Bevard, MBA, is currently a Legal Intern at ACG Advocacy and a Junior Staff Writer for the American University Business Law Review. Previous experience includes serving as a Judicial Intern for Senior Judge Anthony J. Trenga at the U.S. District Courts and as Deputy Director of Programming for the AUWCL Student Bar Association. Alma has also worked as a Legal Intern for the Office of the Public Defender Maryland. Notably, Alma's prior roles at the United States Department of Defense included Strategic Operations Chief, Operations and Management Supervisor, and Public Health Supervisor, where significant contributions to competency evaluation programs and food safety systems were made. Alma holds a Juris Doctor degree in Intellectual Property Law from American University Washington College of Law, an MBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Washington University in St. Louis, and an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies from Montgomery College.
