Sharon Coffman

Sharon Coffman, CMP, is an accomplished events professional with extensive experience in logistical planning and event management. Currently serving as the Director of Events at the Kogod School of Business at American University since June 2016, Sharon has progressed through various roles within the institution, focusing on strategic event planning. Prior to this, work included a contract position with DIGITAL FASTFORWARD, LLC, where Sharon was responsible for planning digital programs and immersive bootcamps. Earlier experience includes over eight years with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where responsibilities encompassed project management, budgeting, and contract negotiation for group business, managing an average of one million dollars in food and beverage revenue annually.
