Charles Beal has extensive experience in the legal field. Charles began their career as a Law Clerk at the US District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky in 1989. Charles then joined the law firm McCoy, West, Franklin & Beal in 1990 as a Partner, specializing in complex civil and white-collar criminal litigation. During their time at the firm, they tried over 50 cases to verdict and argued cases before various courts, including the Supreme Court of Kentucky and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2005, Beal became the General Counsel for Scott-Gross Company, Inc., where they addressed a wide range of legal issues. In 2014, they joined American Welding & Gas as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel, overseeing litigation matters and managing compliance, safety, and quality control activities. Charles later assumed the role of Vice President and General Counsel at the same company in 2019.
Charles Beal attended The University of the South from 1981 to 1985, where they pursued a double major in economics and political science. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law from 1986 to 1989, earning a JD degree in law.
