Joelle Samaan

Joelle Samaan is a seasoned professional in healthcare integration and software engineering with over 30 years of experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Principal Healthcare Integration Engineer at American Well since June 2017, Joelle has previously held significant roles such as Software Engineer at Caradigm, where responsibilities included designing HL7 interfaces and developing Java Integration Classes and XSL stylesheets. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Architect at GE Healthcare’s eHealth Solutions and as Principal Software Engineer at IDX Systems, which is now part of GE Healthcare. Joelle began a career in software development as a Software Development Specialist at National Computer Systems. Joelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from Boston University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
