American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra
Molly Schranck is a Northern Virginia native with a background in piano and arts management. She holds a B.A. in Music with honors from Longwood University and an M.A. in Arts Management from George Mason University. Molly came to AYPO from Études, a D.C. music school. There, she managed the private lessons programs in piano, violin and voice, helped develop and implement a summer music camp for young children, and assisted in developing company policies and procedures. She also served as a marketing intern for the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Molly has previously managed all instrumental ensembles at AYPO, and currently manages the American Youth Debut Orchestra, American Youth String Ensemble, American Youth Prelude Strings, and the Clarinet Ensemble, as well as the Music Buddies Mentorship Program and Summer String Academy.

The American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras (formerly known as the Northern Virginia Youth Symphony Association) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to foster, promote, and increase the musical knowledge and appreciation of the general public, primarily by establishing, maintaining, and operating one or more symphony orchestras, concert groups and ensembles of young performers of instrumental music and by organizing and presenting performances by such orchestras, groups and ensembles. The Orchestras are dependent on the generosity and support of givers who share in its mission and purpose.
