Danny Setiawan's work experience includes a range of roles in UX design and leadership positions. Danny currently serves as the Head of UX at Americaneagle.com, where they have unified and modernized the UX and UI across various platforms for the NYC Department of Education, the largest school system in the US. Prior to this, Danny founded and organized UXSG, a community of over 4000 UX designers, and created a cryptocurrency to increase engagement. Danny also founded and served as the Head of Design at CoCreate consulting, where they redesigned mobile apps for major universities. Additionally, Danny has worked as a Lead Design Instructor at Flatiron School, a UXD Instructor at General Assembly, and a Product and UX Coach at Starta Ventures. Danny has also held positions as Lead UX for Mobile and Senior User Experience Designer at The Economist, a User Experience Designer at Yahoo! Inc., and a Creative Director at ImagineMediaWorks. Danny began their career as a Website Production Coordinator at New School University.

Danny Setiawan completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design at the University of Iowa from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Multimedia from Parsons School of Design - The New School, which they completed from 2001 to 2003.
