Dalton W. Thompson

Dalton W. Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Dalton W. began their career working as the Battalion S1 (Human Resources Manager) at 1st Battalion, 17th Field Artillery Regiment in 2005. Dalton W. then served as a Military Advisor (Consultant) at 1st Battalion, 4th Brigade, 2nd Divison MiTT from 2006 to 2007. In 2008, they assumed the role of Battalion S-4 (Logistics and Distribution Manager) at HHB, 5th Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery, 17th Fires Brigade, and later became the Commanding Officer (Manager) at Alpha Battery, 5th Battalion, 3rd Field Artillery, 17th Fires Brigade. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Special Operations Task Force Fire Support Officer (SME) at 4th Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group. Additionally, they served as a Senior Field Artillery Analyst (Lessons Learned Analyst) at DOTD from 2012 to 2013. Dalton W. pursued further education at USAF Air Command and Staff College as a Graduate Student from 2013 to 2014. Dalton then joined the US Army as a Project Manager (Special Projects Officer) in 2014. Dalton W. continued their logistics and operations career at McLane Company, Inc. as an Operations Manager from 2015 to 2015 and subsequently as a Distribution Manager from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they hold the position of General Manager at Americold Logistics, LLC., and was recently promoted to the role of Regional Director of Operations in June 2021.

Dalton W. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Criminal Justice/Military Science/German from Cameron University. Dalton W. also obtained a Master's degree in Military Operational Art and Science/Studies from USAF Air Command and Staff College.
