Carly Bruder

Carly Bruder was named the Acting Director of AmeriCorps VISTA in June 2022. Carly began her national service journey in 2004 as an AmeriCorps NCCC member, before serving as a VISTA member and VISTA leader. After becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA sponsor, Carly joined the AmeriCorps staff, working in the Florida and Massachusetts State Offices, working as a VISTA Training Coordinator, running the VISTA Member Support Unit, and serving as the Senior Advisor for Technology Transformation. After a brief stint with the Office of Personal Management where she was a program analyst working on solutions to improve federal government hiring, Carly rejoined VISTA as the Deputy Director in January of 2020.
