Jennifer Swinehart

Director, Facilities & Support Services at AmeriCorps

Jennifer Swinehart is the director of facilities and support services at AmeriCorps. Jennifer brings more than 22 years of government and nonprofit experience to her position. Jennifer manages a staff of five in providing consistent, effective, efficient, and customer-focused facilities and support services. The Office of Facilities and Support Services is responsible for facilities management (at headquarters and regional offices), continuity of operations, records, safety, security, supplies and a host of other tasks in support of the agency mission.

Jennifer has a 17-year history with AmeriCorps supporting the agency with the management of large contracts (to include healthcare and childcare for AmeriCorps members), implementing its continuity of operations program, records management and supporting the AmeriCorps NCCC program with operations, policy/procedure development/implementation and internal controls.

Prior to her career with AmeriCorps, Jennifer worked in the non-profit sector serving as a program coordinator with Community in Schools and is an alum of the AmeriCorps NCCC program. Jennifer has a bachelor's degree in family studies from the University of New Hampshire.
