Katherine (Pace) Blue

Vice President, Academics at Amerigo Education

Katherine (Pace) Blue has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of education and college admissions. Katherine has held various roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise and dedication to helping students navigate the college application process.

In 2008, Katherine started their career as an Admission Counselor, Visitor Center Coordinator, and Regional Alumni Organizer at Missouri S&T. Katherine then moved on to Rice University in 2012, where they served as an Assistant Director of Admission. In this role, they evaluated highly-selective admission applications, coordinated communication with Rice Alumni Volunteers for Admission (RAVA), and developed training materials for the RAVA program.

Katherine further expanded their experience by joining The Village School in 2014 as the Director of College Counseling. Here, they provided comprehensive college counseling and logistical planning to students, emphasizing a logical and realistic approach to minimize stress during the application process.

In 2015, Katherine founded Blue Admission, LLC, with the aim of providing student-centered college advising services. Through their expertise as a highly-selective admission application reader, State university admission advisor, and their extensive experience in higher education admission, they aim to alleviate the stress and burden that families and students often face during college applications.

Most recently, Katherine joined Amerigo Education in 2019. Katherine first served as the Director of University Advising, where they created and implemented a college readiness program for nine high school boarding programs across the United States. Katherine also directly advised international students, particularly F1 visa holders, and trained and mentored college counselors across campuses.

Currently, Katherine holds the position of Vice President, Academics at Amerigo Education. In this role, they play a crucial part in building and creating educational solutions, both online and in-person, to support the organization's goals and strategies. Katherine oversees the implementation of internal staff training programs for academic programs, academic advising, and university counseling. Additionally, they manage projects and teams cross-functionally to support academic initiatives at nine high school campuses throughout North America, including hybrid and virtual learning platforms.

Katherine (Pace) Blue attended the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English, with a focus on the field of study in English.
