John Koehn

John Koehn has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John started their career in 1992 as a Communications Director for We Choose Hughes for Congress. From there, they worked as an Associate at Issues Management Inc., where they served as a public and government affairs consultant. In 1996, they joined The Strategy Group as an Assistant Director, developing and implementing public affairs programs for various corporate clients.

In 1998, John became the Legislative Director at The MWW Group, where they directed legislative affairs and represented corporate clients on a wide range of issues. John then transitioned to Amerigroup in 1999, where they held multiple roles, including Vice President of Government Relations and Chief Operating Officer.

John joined Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy in 2018 as a Lecturer, teaching a graduate-level course on health insurance markets. John left the university in 2020 to join AmeriHealth Caritas, first as the Vice President of Community Health Choices - LTSS Services and then as the Market President for the same program.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has overseen significant revenue and beneficiary growth in the organizations they have worked for.

John Koehn has a Master's degree in American History from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American History from the University of Connecticut.
