Fernando Salazar

Fernando Salazar has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Fernando worked as an Engineer at Amerijet International starting from February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Engineering & Programs at Mesa Airlines, Inc. from March 2022 to December 2022. Fernando also worked as a Real Estate Agent at CENTURY 21® for a short period in January 2022. Before transitioning to the commercial aviation sector, Salazar held various roles at Southwest Airlines, including Supervisor of Regulatory Programs from May 2019 to December 2021, Heavy Mx Project Supervisor from October 2015 to May 2019, and Service Engineer from June 2012 to October 2015. Fernando initially gained experience as an Aircraft Mechanic at Republic Airways from July 2008 to May 2012. Prior to that, they worked as an Aircraft Mechanic at Sierra West Airlines from August 2006 to December 2007. Salazar began their career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a 6114 Helicopter Mechanic HMLA 367 from January 1997 to January 2002.
