Richard O'Malley

Richard O'Malley is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Ameris Bank since June 2019, Richard is leading the implementation of the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) initiative, overseeing project planning, governance, and collaboration with analytical teams and vendors. Prior to this role, Richard held significant positions at Deutsche Bank as Vice President in Change Management, where management of US systems for Brexit preparedness was key, and at FrontPoint Partners LP as Vice President of Hedge Fund Accounting, managing fixed income fund performance and administration. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Bank of America in the Global Structured Products Middle Office and JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the Structured Finance Middle Office. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Rutgers University and two Master of Business Administration degrees in Investment Management from Pace University's Lubin School of Business.
