Scott Smith

Scott Smith is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Lead Software Developer at Ameritas since July 2014, after a brief tenure as an IT Consultant there. Prior to Ameritas, Scott worked as a Senior Application Developer for the State of Nebraska, focusing on the maintenance and development of DMV applications. Additional experience includes a significant role as a Senior Project Specialist at Walmart, where Scott led various technical projects and managed key aspects such as scope, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. Scott holds an AAS degree in Computer Programming and another AAS in Culinary Arts & Baking/Pastry from Southeast Community College.
