Tara Calhoun

Tara Calhoun is an experienced project and portfolio management professional currently serving as the Director of Project & Portfolio Management at Ameritas since May 2022. Prior to this, Tara held various leadership roles, including Enterprise Project Management Office Leader at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati and Director of Information Technology at Roto-Rooter Corporate Office, where key projects included the Salesforce Field Service Lightning implementation. With a notable tenure at Western & Southern Financial Group, Tara advanced through positions such as Assistant Vice President in Application Development and Process Reengineering, where strategic initiatives included managing a $35M IT budget and consolidating accounting processes. Tara began the career as an Account Representative at Mapes & Company, focusing on creating insurance proposals for the oil and gas industry. Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Corporate & Organizational Communication from Western Kentucky University and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) practitioner.
