Billy West

Billy West is an experienced executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Executive Director and General Manager of National Accounts at Amgen since December 2006. In this role, Billy leads the Amgen Market Access Team, overseeing the Commercial, Medical, and Medicare lines of business at Cigna Corporation. Previously, Billy held several key positions at Amgen, including Sr. Director of National Accounts and National Account Director, focusing on market access strategies and securing payer coverage for Amgen's product portfolio. In addition to industry roles, Billy has been an adjunct faculty member at Samford University, teaching managed care pharmacy to pharmacy students since 2009, and has actively participated in committees for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy since 1999. With a strong academic background, including a PharmD and MBA from Samford University, Billy has also served as Sr. Strategic Account Director at Prime Therapeutics.
