Gerry Donovan is an experienced professional in landscape architecture and heritage management, currently serving as an Honorary Research Fellow at Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales since January 2023. Prior to this role, Gerry completed a work placement at the Royal Horticultural Society, focusing on the delivery of sustainability strategies. Gerry's extensive career includes positions such as General Manager and Property Manager at the National Trust and Project Manager at Vale of Glamorgan Council, where significant achievements included managing multimillion-pound grants for heritage restoration projects. Additional experience encompasses landscape architecture roles in Tonga and Japan, coupled with foundational work as a landscape assistant in community design projects. Gerry holds a Master of Science in Sustainability and several postgraduate diplomas in landscape studies, further enhancing expertise in the field.
