Andy Tew

Andy Tew is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Director of Student Care and Case Manager at Amherst College since August 2013, managing students facing significant mental and physical health challenges. Andy has previously held roles as Area Coordinator/Community Development Strategist at Amherst College, where responsibilities included training resident counselors and supervising community-building efforts. Prior clinical experience includes internships at Santa Fe Community Guidance Center and Baystate Franklin Partial Hospitalization Unit, providing therapy and case management to clients with diverse mental health needs. Andy holds a Master of Social Work from Smith School for Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Amherst College.
