Meera Kannan

Meera Kannan is an experienced professional in child development and education, currently serving as the Thrive by Five Supervisor at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation since November 2024. Prior roles include Child Development Center Director at Jeremiah Program and Fiscal Systems Coordinator at Lifeworks Services, Inc. Meera began a career in education as Program Coordinator for Minneapolis Public Schools and Young Children's Program Coordinator at First Universalist Church of Minneapolis. Additional experience includes managing household duties as a House Manager/Nanny for a private family and supporting administrative needs as Assistant Director at Lake Harriet Montessori School. Meera's early career was marked by a role as Assistant Preschool Teacher at Sunshine Montessori Preschool.
