Eoin Duff

Eoin Duff has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Eoin is currently serving as the Director of Quality Compliance and Operational Excellence at Amicus Therapeutics, a role they have held since August 2023. Prior to that, they were the Quality Lead at Amicus Therapeutics Europe Limited.

Eoin has also worked at MSD as an Associate Director of External Quality from September 2018 to November 2021. Before that, they held various positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Manager of External Quality and Qualified Person, Senior QA Specialist, and QA Specialist.

Their earlier experience includes working as a QA Specialist at MSD (Merck) and as a Quality Assurance Specialist at CPL (based in Pfizer). Eoin began their career as a Senior Microbiology Analyst at Schering-Plough (MSD) and later became a Microbiology Analyst. Eoin also served as a Production Biochemist at Biotrin and a QC Biochemist/Microbiologist at Trinity Biotech.

Throughout their career, Eoin has demonstrated expertise in quality compliance, regulatory requirements, GMP, and QA/QC processes. Eoin has been involved in successful IMB and FDA audits, process simulations, and the creation and review of documentation. Eoin has also contributed to team training, problem-solving, and product release activities.

Eoin Duff completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Pharmaceutical Science (QP) from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Quality Management and Technology at IT Sligo from 2007 to 2009. Their undergraduate education consisted of a degree in Industrial Microbiology from University College Dublin, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Eoin Duff has obtained various certifications, including an ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt from the American Society for Quality in 2011 and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in 2022.
