Robert McMahon

Robert McMahon has a strong background in technical operations and manufacturing. Robert is currently working as the Director of Technical Operations at Amicus Therapeutics. Before that, they held the role of Associate Director for Global External Manufacturing & Operations at AstraZeneca. Prior to AstraZeneca, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they served as an Associate Director, Senior Project Manager, Technical Operations Lead, and Process Engineering Lead. Robert also gained experience as a Process Engineer at Merck Sharp & Dohme, where they focused on the technical transfer of products. And finally, they started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Abbott Vascular, where they worked on new product introductions.

Robert McMahon has an impressive education history. Robert completed an Executive MBA at Dublin City University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Engineering & Science (MEng Sc) in Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Engineering from University College Cork from 2012 to 2014. Robert also holds a BEng Honours in Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering from Munster Technological University, which they received from 2008 to 2010.
