Francisca Hernandez

Madrina Francisca has been part of the Amigos de Jesus family since 2016 and quickly proved herself to be a leader, a loving mother bear for the children, and a much valued and treasured part of our family. She hails from La Ceiba, a beach community quite a distance from Amigos de Jesus, where her family including adult children and granddaughter still live. She trained to be a secretary which explains her excellent organizational skills, and has also done extensive coursework in economics. Prior to joining the Amigos de Jesus family Madrina Francisca worked in the corporate world. Aside from managing a staff of over 30 and being intimately involved in the care of 135 children, Madrina Francisca also personally cares for one of our youngest girls who came to us as a 2-year-old.
