Carl Zhang is an accomplished undergraduate at Stanford University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Symbolic Systems. Currently, Carl participates in the 2023 ChEM-H Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Program and serves in multiple leadership roles with Stanford Students in Biodesign and Biopharma, including Social and Engagement Chair and Connect Chair, facilitating connections between biotech leaders and the Stanford community. With experience as a Co-Founder of a stealth startup and Director of HackSpace for the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES), Carl also evaluates investment potential as a Campus Scout for GoAhead Ventures and conducts due diligence as a VC Fellow at Amino Capital. Research endeavors include work at the Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on innovative hydrogel technologies for bone injury regeneration. Past internships include a role as a VC Intern at ZhenFund and as a Healthcare Consultant at Stanford Health Care.
