Megan Pattenhouse has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Megan is currently working at Amira Learning as the Director of Learning Design since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Digital Promise from January 2019 to April 2023, where they held various roles including Project Director, Learning Experience Design and Senior Project Manager, Learning Experience Design. Megan'sresponsibilities included designing and delivering professional learning experiences, recruiting and building engaging professional learning communities, and planning and executing large scale conferences and gatherings. Before Digital Promise, they worked at Newsela as a Senior Professional Learning Manager, Special Projects Producer, and in operations from 2015 to 2019. Megan also has experience working with Teach For America as the Director of University Life, Institute Operations from December 2014 to August 2015. Megan started their teaching career as a 4th Grade Teacher & Corps Member at Shelby County Schools from June 2013 to May 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Day Treatment Classroom Intern at LifeWorks NW from August 2012 to June 2013. Megan's early experience includes working as a Campus Campaign Coordinator for Teach for America and as an Instructional Designer and Building Community Coordinator at the University of Portland.

Megan Pattenhouse has pursued both a Master of Education (MS) degree in Digital Age Learning and Educational Technology from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education from 2015 to 2018 and a Bachelor of Social Work degree in Social Work and Education from the University of Portland from 2009 to 2013.
