Lisa Dahlke

Lisa Dahlke, MLIS, CRA, is an experienced archivist currently working at Amistad Research Center since October 2022. Previous roles include a Records Management Intern at Saint Louis Zoo and a Library Associate at New Orleans Public Library. Lisa's early career involved positions such as Communications Assistant at Raintree Children & Family Services, where design and outreach were key responsibilities, and Administrative Assistant at The Advocacy Center of New Orleans, providing comprehensive support for a benefits counseling program. Notably, Lisa coordinated events for New Orleans Eat Local Challenge and undertook internships in marketing and content writing. Academic credentials include a Master of Library & Information Science and multiple certificates in Records and Information Management and Archival Studies from Louisiana State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College.
