Naqib Sarwary is a philanthropy specialist currently working with Amnesty International Australia since March 2024 and has served as the founder and co-director of Camp Afghanistan since May 2017. With extensive experience in fundraising, Naqib held various roles at Amnesty International Canada from May 2018 to November 2023, including philanthropy officer and stewardship associate, where crucial donor relationships and engagement events were coordinated. Previous positions include outreach and development intern at Human Rights Watch and office assistant at Nejat Social Council, focusing on donor communications and fundraising strategies. Naqib holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Global Political Studies from York University and has furthered education at Bard College.
