Amit Saxena

Amit Saxena is an experienced professional in the field of immunology with a strong background in quality control and scientific research. Currently serving as QC Manager at Amniotics AB since November 2021, Amit has previously held roles as QC SME Immunoassays at Lonza Netherlands, Senior Scientist at Janssen Vaccines & Prevention B.V., and Postdoctoral Fellow at Karolinska Institutet, where research focused on autoreactive B-T cell interactions in autoimmune arthritis. Additional postdoctoral work at INSERM involved the role of CD8 T cells in autoimmune diabetes, and a PhD from University Paul Sabatier concentrated on T cell pathogenicity in central nervous system autoimmunity. Early research experience includes positions at National Brain Research Centre, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, and NII - National Institute of Immunology, emphasizing antiviral and anti-inflammatory research.
