Kaustav Ghoshal

Kaustav Ghoshal has over 19 years of work experience in software engineering and management. Kaustav is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Amount since February 2022. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Linear Financial Technologies from October 2021 to February 2022. Kaustav also held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Linear Financial Technologies from February 2021 to October 2021.

Prior to that, Kaustav worked at Fundation as the Co head of Software Development from February 2019 to February 2021 and as a Software Engineering Lead from August 2017 to February 2019.

Kaustav gained significant experience at Exigis, where they served as the Manager of Software Engineering from April 2014 to August 2017. Kaustav had earlier roles with the company as Lead Software Engineer from November 2011 to March 2014 and Senior Software Engineer from February 2010 to November 2011. During their time at Exigis, they led the development of rm. Riskworks, contributing to its growth and success.

Kaustav began their career at 9Star Research as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2007 to February 2010. Kaustav played a crucial role in implementing federated Identity across 7 educational institutions in Oman and architecting numerous Federated Identity and Access Management solutions.

Kaustav also worked as a Graduate Assistant Researcher at Texas A&M University from November 2004 to May 2007, where they developed software for projects like SURA-SCOOP and Texas Mesonet.

Earlier in their career, they gained experience as a Software Engineer at IBM India Software Labs from March 2003 to July 2004, where they developed IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator and supervised Quality Assurance Engineers.

Kaustav's career began as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions from August 2002 to March 2003.

Throughout their work experience, Kaustav has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, leadership, and project management. Kaustav has contributed to the success of various organizations and projects, showcasing their strong technical skills and ability to lead teams effectively.

Kaustav Ghoshal began their education at South Point High School, where they obtained their High School/Secondary Diploma in 1998. Kaustav then attended Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, completing their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering in 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master of Computer Science degree at Texas A&M University, which they obtained in 2007.

In 2021, Kaustav enrolled at the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they completed the Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership, specializing in Management and Leadership, in 2022. Additionally, they pursued various certifications at MIT Sloan School of Management, including "Leading the Future of Work," obtained in June 2022, "Leadership in an Exponentially Changing World," obtained in February 2022, and "Machine Learning in Business," obtained in November 2021.
