Mike Gálvez

Mike Giani is a Mechanical Engineering Technologist with extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Currently employed at McElhanney since July 2021, Mike contributes to the Mechanical & Structural division, delivering engineered solutions for ski lifts, ropeways, amusement rides, and other mechanical industries. Prior to this role, Mike served as Engineering Manager at Quantum Design and Technologies Inc. from 2013 to July 2021, overseeing engineering and manufacturing departments and managing various engineering projects from conception to production. Additional experience includes a position at Rapid Design Group Inc. focusing on research, design, and prototyping, as well as working as a Project Engineering Technologist at Bruin Instruments Corp., where Mike specialized in developing CAD models and technical documentation for chemical injection pump products. Mike holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Certificate in Visual Weld Inspection from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
